I have decided to take this challenge up to support the fantastic Bliss charity, which is very close to a friend of mines heart.

Lily Bailey was born very premature at 28 weeks weighing only 2lb 9oz. she spent 9 weeks in special care and underwent 2 blood transfusions, amongst many complications and battled on against the odds. She is now 8 years old and is a fabulously funny and crazy girl whom I have the pleasure of teaching cookery to every Saturday. She is a joy! It is the support of Bliss that brought her and her family through this.

 Her mom Marie Bailey, who is even more crazy than Lily, is going to be heading up our team of 5 to do this 540ft abseil challenge down Londons' spectacular 33 floor Broadgate Tower! As many of you know I have always loved a challenge and usually the madder the better. However even I have to say that this one is a bit hairy! I have abseiled before. Just once. Down a 2 storey building................

Please donate generously to this fantastic cause and see if I can smash the target figure! The event is 19th September and I would also love it if people would like to come down on the day to offer moral support and maybe go for a bit of dinner and a few drinks afterwards. It will be a great family day out!
