Story
Thank you for taking the time to look at my Just giving page. I will be running the Bupa Great Birmingham Run 2014 for Crohn's and Colitis UK and for my Dad.
My Dad suffers from Crohn's disease and my family and I have watched him go through many periods of suffering from this
extremely painful and uncomfortable disease.Dad has been in hospital with Crohn's disease many times since he was diagnosed in 1987, he now has to have tablets daily and fortnightly steroid injections in his stomach simply to stop the symptoms flaring up again. If the symptoms do recure the next course of action for my Dad would be surgery.
Crohn's disease is incurable but research is being done all the time. Please help me help people like my Dad to have some hope that a cure will be found...
