Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I’ve never participated in a race let alone a mud race but thanks to my cousin (Bob Frake) who convinced me to join him in this mad event, I will literally be throwing myself in, challenging myself and getting completely muddy whilst raising money for charity.

So what is It?

It's a race through the mud and water of the river Blackwater at Maldon in Essex, where up to 300 competitors race to be the first to complete a 400 metre dash over the river bed.....and to make this even more difficult, it'll be in fancy dress. I’m pretty sure this will be the craziest event I will take part in and likely to be tough by all accounts.
