‘The Stephen Thompson Foundation’ was set up in December 2011. Following the tragic death of Stephen, those close to him were left with an overwhelming need to do something to help and to keep his memory alive by turning sadness into something positive. http://www.stephenthompsonfoundation.org/

The main aim of the charity is to raise funds for Giant Cell Myocarditis of which little is known.

At present there is only one clinic in America that is currently running a research programme into this heart disease, details of which an be found at www.myocarditisfoundation.org.

The charity are hoping to raise sufficient funds so that research for Giant Cell Myocarditis can be set up within the UK.

My boyfriend Kevin and I will each run, cycle and or walk 200KM in 30 days to raise money for this cause!
