I know people that have been looked after in recent times by St Lukes and they provide an excellent  standard of care for people that are near to the end of their lives. As a carer I want to do more to help and be able to raise as much as I can for the smaller charities like St Lukes that need that extra hand in carrying on the supportive work. 

It's also a personal achievement for myself, this will be my first ever Marathon. It's not about the time it's about the completion!
