Story

71 Year Old Cyclist Derek Farndell is raising funds this year for Friends of Lisburne School by cycling two routes across the North of England and Wales.

Route two in July 2022 starts at the foot of Mount Snowden where Derek will climb the 1000m + peak and back down to cycle across the north of Wales and through Cheshire, back to the Rising Sun for some more well-earned drinks.

Lisburne is an SEND School for children with complex learning needs. Children that face daily challenges with communication and social interaction. Children on the autistic spectrum with learning difficulties. Children with the widest smiles in Stockport whose bravery shines across the community.
