Thanks for taking the time to visit the Literary Laughs 2021 fundraising page for CARAS, a community organisation which helps refugees and asylum seekers to rebuild their lives.

Literary Laughs is a fundraising initiative helping people to run literary festive parties to raise funds for a charity of their choice.  We give hosts ideas plus free literary quizzes and games for their party as well as asking all participants to vote in our very popular Book Club Awards.  We are now in our 7th year having raised over £58,000 for the various charities supported by each party.

CARAS is a community organisation which helps refugees and asylum seekers to rebuild their lives at the centre of the community. The foundation helps refugees overcome the challenges faced when arriving in the UK through various projects such as clubs, trips, mentoring, summer school and advocacy.
