PASIC are a local charity in Nottingham who support children and young people with cancer and their families.  My friends cousin was diagnosed last year and here is what her mum has to say about PASIC and what they did for her and her family:

"Pasic have been a great support to our family when we were on the ward providing emotional and practical support to us. They provide day trips and get togethers for patients both on and off treatment and also for the patients families. Jo from pasic is constantly on the ward and became a good friend offering a shoulder to cry on, a giggle and fun activities for the sick kids and their families. They provide much needed support during the worst time of ours and other patients lives. Whilst in hospital the other patients become like family and to be able to get together for Xmas parties or a day out at a theme park is a lovely way for everyone to meet up and catch up. Pasic can also provide access to grants for cash strapped families at such a difficult time to pay for parking,travel etc."
