Firstly, thank you to everyone who has supported my last two challenges and helped raise over £100,000 for St. Andrew's Hospice.
The hospice needs to raise over £44,000 every week to continue to provide care and support to people with life-limiting illnesses and their families so I am undertaking a further challenge to help raise more money for this wonderful organisation.
This is the BIG one!!!
An 18 day trek to Everest Base Camp!
This challenge is the longest and hardest of them all and I have already begun training. We will trek through the Himilaya to Everest Base Camp reaching heights of nearly 6000 metres. Our days will involve between 8 to 10 hours of trekking at high altitude and we will stay in tea houses along the way - a slight improvement on tents in that they will be dry!
I hope that you will sponsor me in this amazing challenge by donating or by helping out at one of the various bag-packing and collection dates we have arranged. The dates will be posted on this page.
Thank you so much!
