Warwick Jiu Jitsu Throw-A-Thon

Warwick Jiu Jitsu is raising money for White Ribbon Campaign

Throw-A-Thon · 23 June 2022

We work with men and boys to challenge harmful cultures that lead to harassment, abuse and violence. Our White Ribbon Ambassadors and Champions engage with men and boys to call out such behaviour among their peers and promote a culture of equality and respect.

Story

Many join Jiu-Jitsu because they are worried about the violence they could face and Jiu-Jitsu provides people with the skills and confidence to face such violence and aggression and defend themselves.

Due to Covid, cases of Domestic Violence have risen drastically and that is why the Jiu-Jitsu Society at The University of Warwick wants to support White Ribbon.

On the 23rd of June, we are hosting a Throw-a-thon, where, between us, we will be completing as many Jitsu throws as we can in 2 hours. Please donate to help us support White Ribbon.
