I’m taking part in the Kingston Dragon Boat Race to raise money for WAY: Widowed and Young which provides peer to peer support for those under fifty whose partner has died. I don’t know how I would have survived the past few years without WAY and in particular its sub group WAYWOCS (WAYers without Children). I have met some amazing people and am often moved by the kindness and compassion of group members.  I have also made some wonderful new friends.  I hope that by raising money I can help others access that invaluable support and friendship too.
