We support disabled people to participate fully and equally in society

Story

I've never run 10K so I'm setting myself a real challenge and I'm thrilled to be doing it alongside people wheelchair racing and walking. A really inclusive event for a really inclusive purpose. All money raised will go to our campaign for Equal Participation for All: a world which recognises that when everyone can take part the whole of the UK benefits. DR UK will use the money to campaign for true independent living and opportunities for careers - freeing people from a life in poverty.

DR UK's factsheets and info reach over 1.5 million people a year, our projects support young disabled people to get into employment and people of any age to have more choice and control. And we speak with decision makers to secure policy changes, most recently on Personal Independence Payment and on peer support. We are led by disabled people, right across our differences of experience.
