Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am running the London Marathon for CarersWorldwide. It's a fantastic charity who provide economic, physical and emotional support to child and adult carers in low income countries. These caters spend their lives and little money they have caring for relatives who suffer with chronic medical problems and severe disability.

When I saw this opportunity to run the marathon, I didn't think twice about going for it! I can't explain my reasons, although many of you know. Our experiences and our achievements define who we are and I believe that with hard work and determination you can achieve ANYTHING!

This is by far the scariest thing I've ever put myself forward to do.. and I know this will be my hardest challenge yet.  Someone once told me 'keep doing things that scare you, that make your heart beat fast, push you in ways you didn't think your mind or body could cope, only then can you truly see who you are and what you can achieve' - and I've never looked back!

Please donate to the girl who runs like phoebe from friends, the girl who fell over twice during one 100m sports day race in year 8, to the girl that always watched the runners but never ran herself!

Thank you so much to you all... your generosity is inspiring and I promise I won't let you down.

See you with your banners and tshirts on the 23rd April 2017!!

Love Lizzie xxx
