Story

At a 30 year leaver's reunion at our school (Walthamstow Hall in Kent) this summer we discovered that four members of our year group had been diagnosed with brain tumours.   Very sadly on July 5th 2014, soon after the reunion, our darling friend Emily Smith died leaving her beloved husband Andrew Gilbert, her four children, family and friends bereft. Thankfully our other three friends are gradually mending following major surgery and two of them Sharon Hearne and Claire Dixon/Roberts are able to join us on the walk.  Rehabilitation has been and still is a long haul for all of them.  We would dearly love to raise as much money as we possibly can for brain tumour research. We will love walking, talking and laughing together in memory of Em, just as she would have wished.  Please give anything you can, a few people giving £1 will make a difference, if you can give more, please do.   It will all be appreciated.  Thank you.
