Curt’s 4x4x48

Llangennech AFC’s Curtis Roberts has just completed a tremendous physical and psychological challenge in completing 4 mile runs, every 4 hours, over a 48 hour period. He even added in a 5 mile bike ride on top just to keep warm!

Typical of the man, he saw the David Goggins weekend challenge online on the Thursday night and decided he’d have a go at it, starting midday Friday. So without any training or preparation, Curt found his inner Forrest Gump and completed an amazing feat straight off the couch! We know he’s grateful to a few friends who ran sessions with him to keep him motivated!

It would be a shame for such an effort to go to waste in terms of benefitting a charity, therefore Llangennech AFC have set up this donation site in order to raise some funds to Curt’s chosen charity, Mind Cymru (https://www.mind.org.uk/about-us/mind-cymru/).

Any amount you can donate would benefit a charity that will be very important to many during this difficult time.
