Ar hyn o bryd mae 40 o bobl yn bwriadu cymerid rhan yn y Tîm Hanner Marathon Caerdydd ar Ddydd Sul Hydref 14eg 2012. Yr her yw i bob un ohonom orffen y 13.1 milltir mewn un darn! Mae rhai o fewn y tîm yn hen arfer a rhedeg ac eraill heb redeg ers dyddiau ysgol!! Mae’r hanner marathon yn dechrau o Gastell Caerdydd, ac wedyn yn pasio stadiwm clwb pêl droed Caerdydd tuag at Farina Penarth ar argae i'r Bae. Rhedeg trwy Bae Caerdydd, gan basio Profiad Doctor Who a’r Eglwys Norwyaidd. Ymlaen tuag ar Barc y Rhath ac o amgylch y llyn cyn dod 'nôl i ganol y ddinas tuag at y Ganolfan Ddinesig.

Rydym yn codi arian i ‘Ymchwil Canser Cymru’ er mwyn codi arian ac ymwybyddiaeth at ganser. Fe wneith canser ddatblygu mewn 1 ymhob 3 ohonom, felly mi fydd rhywun o fewn eich teulu agos chi yn cael ei effeithio. Mae’n hen bryd i drio trechu’r afiechyd yma a dyma ein cyfraniad. At the moment there are 40 people intending to participate in the Cardiff Half Marathon Team on Sunday 14 October 2012. The Challenge is for all of us to finish the 13.1 miles in one piece! Some within the team are old hats at this running but others haven’t run since school days!! The half marathon starts by historic Cardiff Castle, runners pass Cardiff City stadium to the picturesque Penarth Marina and the scenic barrage. Running through the iconic Cardiff Bay, passing the Doctor Who Experience and Norwegian Church. The course now takes in the beautiful Roath Park Lake, before a big finish back in the heart of the city at the impressive Civic Centre.

We are raising money for ‘Cancer Research Wales’ to raise money and awareness of cancer. Cancer will develop in 1 in every 3 of us; therefore someone within your close family will be affected. It’s about time we try and overpower this disease and this is our contribution.
