London to Paris Bike Ride 2016 · 14 September 2016 to 18 September 2016 ·

Ummah Welfare Trust was founded to challenge the huge poverty and injustice prevalent in the Ummah today. Inspired by the Islamic teachings of empathy and selflessness, the charity strives to support and uplift the impoverished through the beautiful act of charity.

Story

Assalamualaykum, 8
With the help of Ummah Welfare Trust in august me and 2 friends will be doing a charity bike ride from London to Paris, (YES! ALL THE WAY TO PARIS, YES, ON A BIKE!) to raise awareness and funds for starving families in Syria.

Syria’s civil war is the worst humanitarian crisis of our time. Half the country’s pre-war population — more than 11 million people — have been killed or forced to flee their homes. Families are struggling to survive inside Syria, Others are risking their lives on the way to Europe, hoping to find acceptance and opportunity. And the onset of harsh winter weather makes life as a refugee even more difficult. At times, the effects of the conflict can seem overwhelming.

But one fact is simple: millions of Syrians need our help

Please donate whatever you can using the link below and I'd appreciate it if you could share this message with family and friends,
Jazakallah
