Hey guys, As some of you might know I'm shaving my head (if you didn't you do now). I won't lie, I'm not really doing it by choice, but more necessity- due to Alopecia, my hair, eyelashes and body hair is all falling out. In order to beat this, I'm shaving my hair and starting again. This seems like such a good opportunity to raise some money for a charity that is so close to my heart and my families hearts, Beat do the most amazing work for people with eating disorders, many of whom wouldn't be here today without their help and support and it isn't a charity that gets alot of buzz around it which is one of the main reasons I chose it. The picture above shows my hair in July. It's gotten even longer since then so it will be a really big step. I will be posting pictures of the shaving and the after shave so you will all get to laugh at the terrified expression on my face on the 7th November when myself and my family gather around with clippers and I hear that buzz. As you will all know, my hair is me, my lion's mane is my most important attribute and I love it, to see it all go will be very hard for me, and possibly the most terrifying challenge I will have ever done. So dig deep please guys and make it count!
