Our family are doing the Edinburgh Kiltwalk in September to celebrate our Ethan turning 10 years old!

As many of you will already know, in September 2013 Ethan was born with hydrops due to severe idiopathic chylothorax. He was not expected to survive. He spent 18 weeks in the Simpsons Neonatal ICU and, as a result of the staff's dedication, knowledge and the excellent care he recieved, he was finally able to come home with us in February 2014. 

He has thrived ever since and we are so thankful to the Simpsons Neonatal Unit staff who cared for him and allowed his story to continue. He will be walking the 5 mile distance on the day, with other family members, and we are so proud of him.
