For brain tumour research in Memory of Catherine Dunne-Kelly RIP

Catherine was diagnosed with having two brain tumours Catherine was diagnosed with having 2 brain tumours early in 2006, later in 2006 having 1 removed followed by chemo, and in 2009 having the
2nd one removed. In 2005 Catherine herself raised 10,000 euro for the Marie Keating Foundation (Breast Cancer Charity) driving children in a mini bus from Dingle to Donegal and they done a Dance-athon back to Dingle over a week, little did she know only a few months later she would be diagnosed with disease herself, After moving back to UK from Ireland in 2011 she then attended Mount Vernon in the borough of Hillingdon where she also spent time at the Lynda Jackson centre, where she found lots of help and comfort from the many volunteers that work there. It was there she underwent chemotherapy and
radiotherapy and her tumours remained stable until 2017. Sadly on the 26th of October 2017 after feeling unwell for some weeks, the results of her MRI showed that the tumours were back and aggressive and the back of her brain were covered with tumours. The news devastated us all and it was hard to take in that we only had months left with our beautiful Catherine. We watched her lose her short term memory, be confused a lot of the time and towards the end lose the power in her legs . She succumbed to this horrible incurable disease on the 4th of February 2018 age 42 years.
Rest in peace now our beautiful Angel xxx
