I am taking on a challenge: to get to the top of Ben Nevis in time for breakfast!!

This is a big challenge for me.  The route goes via the ninth biggest mountain in the UK, Carn Mor Dearg with a narrow pass across to Ben Nevis.  The 'Ben' is the highest mountain in the UK and at the top the weather can be quite scary, even in June.  I have my fingers crossed for sunshine. 

I am doing this to raise much needed funds for Only Connect.  It is the most inspiring charity which works with ex-offenders, rehabilitating them and preventing reoffending using drama and the arts.  Having seen the path that young people take into crime I know that for many ex-offenders life has been as tough as it can be.  Only Connect provides an invaluable support system for ex-offenders and their families and has fantastic results at turning lives around.

Please dig deep and support their work.  

Any money you give will help them continue their projects in prisons, the community and schools helping to change peoples lives and steer them away from a life of crime.
