It is with great sadness that I have to tell you Lorraine lost her battle with cancer on Monday 9th November. We have taken some comfort in the fact that her passing was relatively quick and that she spent her last weekend at home with her family.

I’m crying because my life is coming to an end and it has been a good one.  I have the loveliest of all families and naturally I don’t want to leave them. The service should be a celebration of the life that I have had especially the 33 1/3 years with dad plus our two beautiful boys. There should be lots of photos of all of us around because I think my family defines who I was more than anything else.

Lorraine was a member of the Ruislip Horticultural Society and loved flowers but she hates waste and had requested no flowers at her funeral and donations to Macmillan Cancer Support.
