I have been selected to join the GOLD (Guiding Overseas Linked with Development) Europe 2018 team going to Estonia and Georgia. GOLD is an amazing programme which enables young women (aged 18-30) to work in partnership with other guide associations around the world.

In Estonia, the aims and purpose of this project are to inspire a new generation of young women to become the future leaders in Girlguiding. We will be helping them update their training programmes, to train trainers, to retain older guides and recruit new leaders. We have very similar goals in Georgia. Our overall purpose is to help grow the organisation by training new leaders who can then recruit more girls.

In order to take part in this adventure, I need to raise over two thousand pounds, to cover the cost of the project, travel, insurance and country costs as well as any equipment needed for the project. Any help or donations would be greatly appreciated.
