Hi everyone!

Thankyou for showing an interest in my crazy plan of running the Bath Half in March!!

Running is not my favourite - I get hot and everything wobbles. I also do not like challenging myself, getting in or out of a sports bra and the thought of being amongst 1000 other runners terrifies me!!!! BUT I do love the work of the RDA and after 8 years of volunteering I’ve finally found something I can push myself to do to raise money for the gorgeous horses! 

We have a team of 24 horses and ponies, they give children and adults, with varying needs, wonderful experiences and memories - My son included. The happiness the horses bring to people is truly humbling. 

Our horses work hard and play hard! Summer is approaching, meaning fly season is nearly with us. Fly rugs provide some protection to keep flies off the horses, meaning they can enjoy a well deserved rest without being bitten - if they are happy in their rest, they are happy in their work!

Each rug costs £30-40 each and I would love to raise enough to buy new rugs for at least half the team. Any size donation is welcomed and would really help with motivation - running does not come easy to me!
