Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.

Story

Emma was diagnosed with a Glioblastoma Multiforme in April 2017, at the age of 13. She endured brain surgery, 6 weeks of radiotherapy and three different types of chemotherapy over the following 3.5 years. She did all of this without a single word of complaint, and always with a big smile on her face.

She fought a long and brave battle with determination, courage and fearlessness.

Finally, on the morning of 18th October 2020 she passed away peacefully in the presence of her family, surrounded by love.

It was her wish that instead of people sending  floral tributes, she wanted to raise as much money as possible for Brain Tumour Research, to help others.
