In November I will be participating in my fifth RifCom challenge, trekking through hot and humid conditions up to the summit of Cerro Frio (3,492 m) in Costa Rica. 

I am taking up this challenge to push myself with the memories fresh in my mind from hiking in Tarifa, Spain seeing the boats with the Arabic writing from migrants that tried to get across the Med. Rifcom helps people less fortunate than us have the opportunity to better their lives in many ways. It is my hope that this will prevent them from becoming migrants, refugees, or needless victims.

I have been over to Morocco with the team to help out with various projects over the years and was back there again in May this year. RifCom is currently using funds to set up their 3rd rural preschool, as well as supporting a rural high school boarding house with food and supplies. They are also looking to buy a second hand ambulance and are supporting a women's sewing cooperative. 

I can firmly assure anyone willing to sponsor me that all funds go straight to RifCom to help them continue with these, and similar life changing projects.
