Chiddingstone School- Whole School Art Afternoon

Fundraising for Refugease
£645
raised of £250 target

This fund is to pay for our emergency evacuations in eastern Ukraine close to the frontline. We have bought a minibus & need to fund the ongoing running costs of the vehicle and supporting our volunteer drivers.

Story

The whole school will have a fun art afternoon next Friday 29th April, to raise funds to support the Ukraine refugees.
The children will be getting creative with the colours of the Ukraine flag, using only blue and yellow in their paintings/collages. They will also be able to come in to school for the whole day dressed in blue and yellow.
We will be supporting Refugease who are a local charity, based in Tonbridge. They don’t accept physical donations for Ukraine due to limited storage space and also the time and expense of transporting goods to the border. Instead they have a virtual aid shop where you can buy food parcels, hygiene packs, medical supplies, sleeping bags and many other items. They have a presence on the ground who know exactly what is needed and can buy and distribute almost immediately. This is a very effective way of getting aid directly to where it is needed.
