Jack had open heart surgery at 10 days old and without the cardiac team at BCH he would not be with us today. He still undergoes regular checks at BCH and will be needing a new pulmonary valve in the not too distant future.  We would like to raise money for the Children's Heart Appeal; Children with poorly hearts need people with generous ones.  

So, as a family, and hopefully with a few willing friends we will be walking the Malverns from end to end on Saturday May 14th 2011.  This will be a thoroughly exhausting walk and is actually where Sir Edmund Hillary did some of his training ready to climb Mount Everest!! Jack will really be pushing his heart to the limit, but he is determined to raise as much money as possible! As Jack is currently only 10 years old I have set the page up in my name, but please note this was all Jack's idea.
