For Louise xx

Louise Foskett was taken from us on 7th December 2017 far too early in her life having not even been given the chance to fight the lung cancer she had been diagnosed with earlier in the year.
During her final month Louise felt the incredible love and care offered by the Countess Mountbatten Hospice.
The care and attention of the staff to both the patients and family members went beyond all expectation, nothing was to much for them.
Louise spent just over two weeks at the centre. The staff were so amazing, managing to get her pain under control to enable her to go home for a short while, before returning to the hospice for her last hours. She said they made her feel safe and secure at a very scary time.
The facilities are excellent and the staff also create fun and enjoyment for the patients giving them other things to think of. Bingo nights, the occasional glass of wine are good examples. Louise enjoyed a cream tea and cake party with her friends in the ward, donated by a local company and a manicure / nail painting (Pictures below). A good friend of hers even had a tattoo.
One of Louise's final wishes was that I do what I could to repay the kindness shown and to enable them to carry on their excellent work.
