Lesley smith is a very talented seamstress who has worked for the army as a tailor for years. 

She’s now a support worker at the Warminster day centre for ALZHEIMER’S SUPPORT which due to Covid-19 has been forced to close temporarily. This has had a massive impact on those who relied on the service. 

Lesley is now putting her fantastic sewing skills to good use with the help of work colleague Lou and Lou’s 13 year old daughter Beth making facial coverings to be sold to gain much needed funds for Alzheimer’s support through this difficult time. 

Lesley and Lou researched materials using the governments website for information. 

The facial coverings which are recommended to be worn on public transport, shopping or whilst out in public spaces are made from 100% cotton, are double layered and can be washed at 40-60 degrees and come in many cheerful colours.

I’d you would like to buy them they are £3.50 each if local to Trowbridge for Lou to deliver to your door step  or £4.50 if you’d like it posted to you.
