Last July my friend Dylan and his girlfriend Vikki lost their beautiful baby girl Ruby at just 9 days old.  Over the last year they have ran, cycled and swam to raise money for the Leeds Hospital Neonatal Trust which cared for Ruby and supported her family.

I have always wanted to run a marathon but never had the courage to try until I saw the sheer strength and determination that Dylan and Vikki and have displayed.  Fundraising is hugely important to this Trust without which they wouldn't be able to provide the invaluable support they do.

The training is complete, and I am extremley nervous but I will give it my best shot and hope that the jelly babies, and the familiar faces get me through the tough times!
