Milton Keynes Marathon 2012 · 29 April 2012 ·

We are dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for young cancer patients aged 13-24. We fund and build specialist units in NHS hospitals and provide dedicated staff, bringing young people together so they can be treated by teenage cancer experts in the best place for them.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I shall be dusting off my training shoes and running the Milton Keynes Marathon at the end of April in aid of The Teenage Cancer Trust.

The TCT is a charity that is very close to my heart. Gracie Butler my dear friend Hannahs daughter was diagnosed with a spindle cell sarcoma last year and is in the middle of an intensive regime of surgery and chemotherapy. The Teenage Cancer unit in Sheffield is doing a great job in helping to create an environment to make this time for Gracie as comfortable as possible.

Gracie is an exceptionally brave and remarkable person and has dealt amazingly with her diagnosis and treatment. She is very greatful that a unit like this exists in her locality and that she can spend time with people of a similar age who are going through a similar thing

Please help us raise money to ensure that all teenagers with cancer can have access to the same fantastic facillities.
