We Help the over 60s to afford a rescue pet to tackle loneliness and isolation

Story

In November 2013, I set up the Give a Dog a Bone charity because I wanted to make a difference.

These past few years have been amazing and I've been exposed to lots of little miracles along the way.

People have overwhelmingly supported my cause - to help the over 60s afford a rescue pet companion - and it's been a truly humbling experience.

The charity is really starting to gain momentum now and the application forms are coming in thick and fast - which leaves me with only one option - FUND RAISE!!!!

So, for the month of September I've decided to go alcohol free.  I don't imagine it will be easy, but I'm ready for the challenge.

If you guys support me, it will give me added incentive to make the next 30 days a wine free zone ;-)

Thank you SO much for all you do to help me xxxx

About the charity

We support the over 60s to afford a rescue pet companion. If money is a genuine barrier, we can pay the rehoming fee for a RESCUE animal and continue to support, each month, with the cost of pet food. 'Helping individuals through loneliness and animals through homelessness'.
