As my 30th birthday approaches, I realise that I have everything I could need and would like to do something good to mark the occasion. I have chosen to raise money for a charity very close to my heart in lieu of gifts this year. Or anyone else who would just like to donate a few £s to help these animals.

Did you know most pet rabbits die before their 1st birthday as people just don't know how to care for them properly? 

Rabbits are the 3rd most popular pet in the UK and probably the most neglected, a lot of the time it is subconscious neglect. These poor little creatures are left in tiny hutches in back gardens (more often than not a "present" to a young child who quickly loses interest). These animals are forgotten about, starved of proper food (rabbits are not supposed to eat lots of carrots!) and attention and rarely let out of their cells. It is utterly heartbreaking. I want to raise money for the Rabbit Welfare Association to help them to promote rabbit rights and help educate people about keeping them as pets.
