Following her diagnosis with an aggressive brain tumour Louise fought very bravely to extend her life, despite the heavy toll this took on her, in order that she could be around for as long as possible for Dylan and Mark.

Her final weeks were very difficult but the care and support given to her and to her family by the team at Wigan & Leigh Hospice was incredible. They not only made her as comfortable as possible, they also looked after her with a kindness above and beyond what we could have hoped for.

Louise set out her wishes before she passed away and asked for donations to be made in her memory to the hospice. £480 is the cost of caring for one patient for one day.
