On the 17th December, 2020 fire raged through the township Masiphumelele destroying over 1,000 homes including that of Songezo Academy's head coach, Sidney Lubabalo.

We need your support to help him rebuild his home. Rebuilding Luba's home will help support him to continue in his invaluable work changing the lives of the kids we look after through the Songezo Academy. Many of the academy youngsters rushed to help Luba when they knew about the fire but were not in time to save Luba's home or property.
