Luca and Rosa were born 2 months prematurely in August 2015.  They spent the first 3 weeks of their lives in the Special Care Baby Unit at the Princess Royal Hospital in Farnborough, Kent.  The care that they received during that time was exceptional.  We owe so much to the staff who work so hard performing miracles every day, caring for babies born too soon or who are seriously ill.

There is always a great demand on the unit for the latest equipment to help these tiny babies survive. A limited number of heated mattresses meant that Rosa had to spend a night under 6 blankets until one became available.  Luca and Rosa enjoyed the benefit of a special twin cot on the unit.  As there is only one, the next set of twins to arrive had to wait their turn.  We would love to raise money for the unit so that they can buy some of this much-needed equipment and help other families.
