The Aspinall Foundation is devoted to saving rare and endangered animals and returning them to protected areas in the wild. The future of many endangered species is in our hands, doing nothing is not an option. Please make a difference today. Start fundraising at http://www.justgiving.com/jaf

Story

I am undertaking 21 days of gruelling challenges across the UK. Navigating 50km across Dartmoor by night. I am doing the 'Peak 200', traversing 225km of the Peak District and 5000m of ascent by mountain bike. Finally, I will be doing the 'Paddy Buckley' challenge which takes in 47 summits, including Mt Snowdon, climbing a total of 8300m.

I am doing this to raise awareness and money for the Aspinall Foundation and the amazing work they are doing. For example, they are the only people in the world to return a family of gorillas back to the wild. They have bred more black rhino in captivity than anyone else and they are developing and protecting animal projects around the world. They are true ground-breakers in animal conservation.

This is a picture of me in 2008 with a gorilla called Kouki, a few days before she was one of the first gorillas to be returned to the wild.

I am proud to do these challenges for the Aspinall Foundation.
