In memory of Emma Cadywould

Story

My only sister Emma was tragically lost  by all who loved and cherished her, due to an illness which is wildly unacknowledged or taken less seriously than it should be.

Although this feels like yesterday to my family, it will be 10 years this year.  A milestone no body wants to reach.

10 years ago, I ran the marathon, Emma was pregnant and happily supporting me from the luxury of her sofa. Yet only months later her life was gone.

10 years on, I still have some mad desire to keep running and trying to remember Emma, and help raise awareness of peri natal mental health. I thought running a virtual marathon would be easier, but without the crowds to cheer you on it is going to be hard! I hope that my children will get up before I finish and give me a cheer at least!

So, if you can give a little, it will make a huge difference to a fantastic charity that is run totally by volunteers, who are making such an impact on women's mental health after having a baby. It will also help me get up at 6am and run around Sutton!!

Thank you in advance

Lucie xx
