I will be running the Macmillan 10 k Fun Run on Father's Day, June 17th in memory of my father. I won't be alone on the day but will be joined by 5 friends who make up our team Lucinda's Leopards.

10 k isn't very far I do realise that, but it's not about distance but rather what the day means to all of us. My father died on 14th November 2009 after 2 long years of battling throat and lung cancer. The help that he recieved from our Macmillan nurses was invaluable and the support they gave my mother and I was greatly needed. I can't really truly express to you what your donation would mean to me, but I can tell you what it would mean to Macmillan. 

99% of their services are funded entirely from donations, every penny really counts.
