As a family we have had experiences with cancer however thanks to the support from Macmillan, their care, compassion and dedication have made difficult times more bearable.

My mum and dad unfortunately lost their battle to cancer leaving us all heart broken. As many of you know my Aunty Viv was recently diagnosed with bowel cancer, she is currently undergoing treatment and is determined to beat cancer.

I am currently training for a half marathon, to raise money for Macmillan.   At the start of my training I couldn’t even run a mile (unless wine was waiting for me at the end), never mind 13.
