We are fundraising to build a much needed hospice in Winchester. Unfortunately, there is currently no hospice available to the residents of Winchester limiting the options for end of life patients.

This is a stressful time for patients and their loved ones. Enabling patients to have the option of spending the remaining days/weeks of their lives in a specialised Palliative Care facility makes a huge difference.

This is my third week in my new role as a  Clinical Nurse Specialist with the HHFT palliative care team. I feel extremely privileged to work with such a fantastic team and wonderful patients. I can see now first hand how essential a hospice and community palliative care team is for Winchester.
