On Saturday 11th September, I will be taking part in the 15K Marlborough Starlight Walk along with the other 'Lewis' ladies (Karen, Hannah, Lisa & Kirsty) in memory of my father-in-law who sadly lost his battle with cancer at the start of August.  John was a really special man whose family meant the world to him (he is pictured here building a sandcastle with Katie).   

The care John received at the Propsect Hospice in Wroughton was outstanding.  Our family were warmly welcomed to stay as long as we wanted and the nurses and doctors treated John with considerable such care and respect.  

We decided while at the Prospect that we needed to do something to say thank you for all the support they had given throughout John's illness and spotted some leaflets for this walk.  So, on Saturday we'll be starting from Marlborough Leisure Centre, going along part of the Ridgeway to Rockley and then back again.
