Making rainbow door plaques ยท 11 May 2020

Musgrove Hospital in Taunton is the largest general hospital in Somerset and serves a population of 340,000. Charitable donations are used to support the work carried on at the hospital by purchasing services and equipment which would not otherwise be provided.

Story

My name is Lily. I am 8 years old. The COVID 19 pandemic has inspired me to raise money in support of my local NHS hospital. Musgrove Park.

Since rainbows have become the symbol of hope and happiness during this pandemic. I have decided to make bespoke rainbow door plaques from the local stone I have salvaged from my back garden.

Due to current movement restrictions this offer is only open to those living in the polden villages.

Please message your house name / number  to lucyellis27@hotmail.com.

All donations to our local NHS trust hospital gratefully received.

Many thanks

Lily

Love Musgrove is the Official Charity of Musgrove Park Hospital. Each year the Hospital treats over 450,000 patients through its emergency department, on its wards and through its outpatient services. Although the Hospital is funded by the NHS, it is vital that we raise additional funds to improve our services, purchase new equipment and continue to provide a positive environment for both patients and their families. Donations made in support of Love Musgrove have a real and tangible impact on the people of Somerset and beyond!
