Since July 2015, I have been researching Mums' grief after their baby dies in stillbirth and neonatal loss.  I have been amazed at how generously people have given their time and humbled by their difficult journeys.  Often Mums have said they do not feel able to talk about the baby they love.  

This is not my story, but I am doing this in honour of those families and their babies.  If you are donating in memory of a baby and would like to share their name I would love you to do so.   

While doing this work, I also became aware of how many women and children die unnecessarily in childbirth and the work of the White Ribbon Alliance. The White Ribbon Alliance is an international coalition of over 15,000 organisations and individuals working in over 150 countries to save the lives of mothers. It empowers women and communities to provide that missing voice for 1/2 the pregnant women in the world who still face dying in childbirth.
