Story

WE DID IT!! Lucy, Viv, Louise, Sarah and Caroline took part in the Moonwalk , a marathon starting at Midnight tonight in Hyde Park, to raise funds for research and treatment of breast cancer.

It was a truly uplifting experience!! 17,000 walkers in bras and fancy dress walked the streets of London by moonlight, spurred on by Ruby Wax and Jennifer Saunders in the fabulous pink tent, before we set off. It was such a positive attitude and we were shown just how all the money that YOU have donated goes into incredible projects in research and treatment.

Of course it's a subject close to all our hearts, but this year in particular we are delighted to be marking the fact that it is ten years to the month since Sarah was diagnosed with breast cancer. Sarah  will be pounding the streets as living proof that the advances in diagnosis and treatment have been amazing - and will, thanks to your generous donations, continue to improve the life chances of women with breast cancer every day.

THAN YOU so much for sponsoring us. We were genuinely over-whelmed by all the messages and texts we received on the night too (although Will's text concerning the shapely legs of the Spanish contestant in Eurovision wasn't quite so inspiring!). And as for Honey, Libby and others who set alarms and woke up to phone us at 2am and 3am, well, that was just so appreciated!
