Both my parents died of cancer when  I was in my 20s. I want to do something positive to ensure that in future fewer children have to grow up without their parents. I am proud to be an Ambasador for Breakthrough in the North West to support the groundbreaking work they do at their research unit at the Christie.

It's a really tough challenge for me as I am totally unfit - and getting on a bit.
