The Marsden March 2013 · 17 March 2013 ·

We raise money to improve the lives of people affected by cancer. From funding state-of-the-art equipment and groundbreaking research, to creating the very best patient environments, we will never stop looking for ways to improve the lives of people affected by cancer.

Story

Hello,

It's me again, asking you to donate some more pennies for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity in return for my blood, sweat and tears during this year's Marsden March.

It's a 14-mile stroll between the two hospital sites in Chelsea and Sutton, which 4,500 hardy-ish souls will be tackling on Sunday 17th March.

I have roped in 13 friends to walk with me this year; we are the Marsden Massive. We will raise lots of money to help the Marsden carry out its essential work, including investing in new MRI scanners and funding pioneering developments in cancer research, treatment and patient care.

Thousands of people benefit from the Marsden's specialist cancer care each year. Victoria and I have spent rather a lot of time at the hospital in Chelsea in recent months and, five years into her treatment, still find the staff and the treatment and care they provide pretty bloody amazing.

So, please give what you can.

Remember to tick the Gift Aid box if you are a UK taxpayer.

Thank you very much,

Lucy
