Anyone who knows me knows I'm not a natural runner and i have a love hate relationship with the sport. those who know me will also know that my family has hardly been hit with the lucky stick when it comes to cancer and we pretty much make up the 1 in 3 statistic single handedly. This year we lost 2 beautiful, strong and inspirational women from our family and it has given me the drive to give something back. I will be running in memory of my Aunty June and my Nan and also my Mom who has done a damn good job of kicking cancers butt this past few years.

After seeing firsthand what this horrific disease can do and seeing how the help and support that charities give can be so needed I will be running 10km for my works chosen charity Macmillan. The help Macmillan gives helps not only those fighting the disease but the families involved and every pound will be matched £1-4-£1 by Npower
