Erin and I have been best friends since 1st year at high school and our eyebrows joined in the middle. Erin, in the past month, has been diagnosed and has bravely started treatment for breast cancer! Her incredible strength and infectious positivity has inspired my Dad and I to attempt out first Triathlon. 

Erin has a serious love affair with swimming (I do not share this passion), I love a great jaunt on my road bike (Erin does too but not if it hurts her bottom) and we both despise running.

 The Triathlon consists of a;

"750m Open Water Swim in the spectacular Loch Tay

20km Road Bike on quiet and undulating (gently!) roads of Highland Perthshire

5km Run in the grounds of beautiful Taymouth Castle"

Training starts now in preparation for the 18th of August, time to fish out my swimming costume!
